This is the third of Dr Amanda Brown's books that I've read but this one really struck a chord with me.I cried three times reading this one and I think it comes down to how "foreigners" are treated within our system.Especially when they have, in our eyes, actually not committed heinous crimes but have got lost along the way of trying to escape their own purgatory at the hands of their own dictatorship or the likes.Amanda's compassion is what we can only hope for when visiting our own GP. A strong courageous lady, who deserves nothing but respect.She's an inspiration and maybe the junior doctors of today should all have to complete a semester within the prison system.The ending was not what I expected and yes I openly cried in public!Maybe one day Amanda will bring us another book to regale us further with her tales of being a Prison Doctor.
