Checked this book out at library. 2 yr old identified with the story--a little girl falls off her scooter and gets a boo boo on her knee. So, we ordered a copy. She looks at this book almost daily. It's a book i don't mind reading repetitively.I narrate the book a little different than the words because the book states Posy takes the scooter from Pip and then later, apologizes to Pip for taking his bike. This is the mainstream attitude towards toddlers and sharing; that there's a victim and a bully. Unfortunately, this is an adult projection. With toddlers, it's all just learning. So, I use my own narration. "Pip had the bike...now Posy has it...Pip seems upset about that." Learn more about toddlers and not labeling them or forcing sharing by googling "Janet lansbury sharing."
