In two minds about this book. It is written like it’s being submitted as an analysis piece/thesis on generational woes/hustle culture. It’s very much like a huge long essay. You could easily skip the first 13 pages and start at 14. The language isn’t very accessible - I consider myself fairly articulate and am in a corporate comms role and even I find it a hard read - very lengthy and often having to google words. The sentences are so long and very woffly. If the aim of this book is to help as many people as possible then I don’t get why it isn’t written in a way that’s easy to understand. At worst it seems a bit like a book written by someone who likes the sound of their own voice at best the editor hasn’t done a good job of making it more of an accessible read. Disappointing but don’t want to give it a zero either as some good nuggets in there if you can make your way through the essays of monologue.
