My kids love these book. Great action packed book. Tom is a great hero a youngster fighting magical beasts he has all the right ingredients, intelligence, courage and determination. Now by this being the third series tom has gained some magical enhancements, so he is not just a little boy fighting nightmare beasts.Since the last book and defeating Trilline the 3 headed lion. A dimensional gate has open to the world of Gorgonia. A world completely under the control of Tom's arch nemesis the evil wizard Malvel. My Kids have loved the other books but I have to say the action, descriptions and language and even the paper quality of this book was better. Nice illustrations in it as well. I do like the fact that Tom is starting to mature and is getting more used to using his powers as well.
