Having read a sample of this, I bought it.......and really wish I hadn't. There's nothing wrong with the way the book is written or the very original idea; I just found it long winded and 'draggy'. There's only so much mileage in writing about 4 people stuck in an attic. By the time peeing in a container, hanging out of a skylight to attract attention & an incipient squabble have been described, there's no further interest to be had......possibly a MUCH shorter story would have been better for this idea.Maybe, as a previous reviewer said, it would appeal to a particular demographic (to which I don't belong). About halfway through now and going to abandon it-it's taken me 2 weeks to get this far. I KIND OF want to know what happens in the end, but not at the rate of a chapter now and then, which is all I can bear to read of this before giving up and reading something more interesting.
