This book has a little bit of everything, from voice changes to pimples, anatomy and sex, to eating habits and sports, and drugs and shaving. Uses correct terminology and is to the point. It does generalize and stereotype a bit when describing the differences between boys and girls. For example, it says "girls can feel pressure to look like glamorous celebrities. Boys worry about their looks, as well, but usually less". Another example is "boys worry about the size of their penis," parents are more strict with daughters, and girls make friends more easily. I wish these things would have been worded differently, because it not only may introduce bias, but also perpetuate it. I suppose it's a good opportunity to talk to your child about these types of ideas, though.
